Drought is common problem with newly planted trees and shrubs even if it’s a cool and wet summer, rain rarely replenishes the soil fully and may dry out around the roots even when the surface appears moist.

Dry or windy conditions lead to water shortages. With our experience, it is possible to spot the dull, lifeless foliage often a sign of drought stress but by then the tree has probably already been damaged.
